About me
Hi, I’m Andrea. I live in the Halton region (Ontario), with my family (hubby, daughter and dog). I set up this blog to be more intentional in pursuing activities that bring me happiness: writing, travelling, trying new things.
Peripatetic comes from the verb “peripateo” which in Greek means “I go for a walk”. I love walking as a way to explore places, whether at home or abroad. Peripatetic is also the traditional name for Aristotle’s school of thought. The philosopher was known to walk with his disciples as he deliberated: what does it mean for humans to live well? His deliberations were some 2500 years ago, yet still relevant today.
Peripatetic Me takes root in the idea of going for a walk. But more than simply putting one foot in front of another, Peripatetic Me is about taking steps to be happier.
