A look at year 3
It is coming up on three years since my first post. I am inclined to review or reflect on another passing year. Unlike any performance review I had to conduct at work, my “reviews” don’t take any set form. The first year marked highlights and the second marked 100 posts. Looking back on this third year, a clear theme emerges. I have been fortunate to travel and it’s been all about Spain.
As I do like creating lists (like delightful things about winter), the list in my notebook that has become longer and longer this year is “Things I love about Spain”. There could be many sub-categories, be it architecture, language, scenery, or food, but it’s one long list. A list of happy discoveries. To mark my third year I decided to digitize my scribbled list.
If you are interested in all things Spain, click here and you can check out my new page: Things I love about Spain.
Thank you for reading and sharing your comments. Gracias!
P.S. If you are doing your own review and want to stop getting these posts, just click unsubscribe from your email.

Hi Andrea – I too, “am making a list and checking it twice” (take that, Santa).
Your beautifully written, insightful words and excellent photography began by getting your readers through pandemic isolation. Gracias.
Then…with your recent travels to Spain, I have collected a wonderful itinerary of places to visit when my husband and I travel to this amazing country, an extensive list compiled by reading your notes.
Then today, reading your blog “Things I Love about Spain”, I have yet another document to refer to. Who needs Google when we have Andrea?
We were in Alsace, Black Forest region and Rougemont Switzerland 2022; January, 2023 it will be New Zealand. I believe 2024 is open for a brand new discovery.
De nuevo, gracias por compartir tus aventuras. (that sentence I borrowed from Google Translate)
Warmly, Linda

Hi Linda, aww, thank you for your heartwarming comments. It’s nice to hear you have been enjoying my Spain travels and the new page…and even making your own list of potential places to visit. I am quite smitten with the country 🙂 So happy to hear about your travels too. Have a wonderful time in New Zealand! Que tengas buen viaje!
